SHANGHAI, March 7 (Xinhua) -- An exhibition devoted to avant-garde Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama opened in Shanghai on Thursday, featuring over 40 colorful works from the so-called "polka dot queen."
The exhibition "All About Love Speaks Forever" is being held at the Fosun Foundation Shanghai and will run through June 9.
The exhibition features over 40 of the artist's works, including her "Infinity Mirrored Room," "Pumpkins" and "My Eternal Soul" series, as well as a number of large-scale reflective installations specifically designed for the space in the heart of Shanghai.
Born in 1929 in the central Japanese city of Matusmoto, Kusama is a world famous artist known for her use of vibrant colors and polka-dot patterns. Her works cover a wide range of art forms, from painting and sculpture to installation and literature.
