One of the highlights of the exhibition is an interactive three-dimensional VR game project designed by interdisciplinary installation artist Zsa Zsa Wen, who utilized a broad range of technological and multimedia tools
The artistic interactive space showcases the light and dark sides of people's shadows through vivid story-telling and virtual effects, which aims to inspire audience to explore the deeper side of their inner self, according to an exhibition introduction.
Three young artists made their debut in the Big Apple. Among them, Yiwei Wu presented her stylish apparels that intend to demonstrate her exploration into various human emotions such desire and panic.
Kathy Guo brought her hand-drawing paintings, and Shuonan Liu's works focus on distinctive strollers on the street.
Each artist's creative concepts are connected with designs of geometric elements in the gallery, which the exhibition organizer described as an "undefined white cube," aiming to provide audience with an art-exploring journey.
"In this undefined white cube, each singularity is an artist's self," Xiaoyue Zhang, curator of the exhibition, told Xinhua. "I hope more people to pay attention to young artists by seeing how amazing these young (Chinese) artists could be."
